I would not normally say anything about a candidate’s spouse. However, it is time to reveal the total insanity of this campaign, and Melania’s speech today is the perfect example. Trying to sound like she really cares, she complained about cyber bullying and how “Our culture has gotten too mean and too violent”.
Does she even know what her husband has been up to? The number one person guilty of meanness and violence in this campaign is her husband Donald Trump. He has let loose a barrage of twitter attacks on everyone and everything that is not named Donald Trump.
The last time I counted, there were over 280 mean tweets about other people from calling them “dummies” to “crooked” to “ugly pigs” to “third-rate”. I think you get the idea.
Melania apparently does not watch the news each night. If she did, she would have heard her husband single out Katy Tur from NBC News as being “biased against him” and saying she won’t cover his campaign fairly. He did this in front of his “base” at a rally and she was heckled and shouted at the rest of the night.
For at least the second time she had to be escorted out of the rally at the end by Secret Service agents to protect her form these violent people at the rally. His campaign manager, Kellyanne Conway said that she didn’t think he was deliberately trying to be malicious.
If he wasn’t trying to be malicious, what was he trying to be? He has singled her out before. Remember, it was Katy who pressed him on his “call for Russia to hack our cyber systems” and he told her to be quiet like she was a little girl interrupting his press conference.
This candidate has attacked a Gold Star Mother, made fun of a disabled reporter, called a former Miss Universe “Miss Piggy”. He constantly attacks women for their looks. When someone accuses him of something they are immediately labeled as liars and “someone looking for 10 minutes of fame”.
He bragged on that infamous tape about sexually assaulting women just because he is a star and can get away with it. He is facing 75 different law suits including one from a woman who claims he raped her when she was 13.
He made an accusation about one of his opponent’s father being part of the JFK assassination without any proof other than the National Enquirer. He criticized another opponent by saying “look at her face, I mean”. He said that the women who have come forward saying he sexually assaulted them must be lying because they “weren’t pretty enough for him to bother with.”
He has called Mexicans “rapists and criminals”. He said all Muslims are terrorist sympathizers if not terrorists. Therefore all Muslims should be banned from immigrating here.
His behavior has been so bad the National Education Association recently began a campaign to raise awareness of a “Trump effect, in which children feel emboldened by the candidate’s behavior to engage in bullying. They took this astounding action because bullying has been reportedly on the increase at schools since his announcement for President.
The man is an absolute shit. He doesn’t pay those who do work for him. He currently owes a pollster over $750 thousand for work performed. Apparently he didn’t like the results of the polls so he isn’t planning on paying his bill, again.
Yet, this afternoon his wife stood on a stage and complained that “our culture has become too mean and too violent”. She decried bullying in school. She decried cyber bullying of children by other children. These are things that need to be talked about.
But I find it outrageous that the wife of the poster child for bullying is the one talking about this issue without mentioning his own bullying. If she really meant what she was talking about she might have used some of her husband’s tweets as perfect examples.
She mentioned that children are often picked on for their looks or intelligence. Something that her husband does on a daily basis. He even joked once when talking about a 10-year-old girl that “I’ll be dating her in 10 years. Can you believe that?”
When Trump was pressed about his plea to Russia to hack more of our cyber systems, he said he was being “ironic”. No, he was being “moronic”. Irony is his wife giving a speech about bullying and not mentioning him. Irony is trying to make the American people that she or anyone in the Trump camp really believes you shouldn’t bully anyone.
I would offer a piece of free advice to Melania. Stick to some other topic. This one that you chose for today is just too ironic to be taken seriously. Before you try to clean up the rest of America, clean up your own house and tell your bullying husband to shut the fuck up!
Maybe then we can take you a little more seriously.
