We are a couple of days removed from the latest off-year election. The results are pretty clear from an outsiders viewpoint. The Pee Party LOST!!! Has that stopped the wrangling in the Republican Party? Nope!
The only Republican to win any substantial race was NJ Governor Chris Christie. In past elections, the Republicans would be cheering and praising Christie for being able to hoodwink a Democratic state into voting for him. But, no, that is not happening. Even the applauds are tinged with hidden meanings.
For example: “Clearly [Christie] was able to speak to the hopes and aspirations of people within New Jersey,” Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) told CNN. “That’s important. We want to win everywhere and Gov. Christie has certainly shown he has a way of winning in New Jersey, in states like New Jersey… so I congratulate him on that.”
Notice how he kept say “states like New Jersey?” Could it be that Mr. Rubio is really saying that Christie may fly in New Jersey, but not the rest of the Republican strongholds? Could he win in South Carolina? Could he win in Texas?
Rand Paul went a little further: “I think the Republican Party is a big party, and we need moderates like Chris Christie who can win in New Jersey in our party.” He also knocked the Hurricane Sandy TV ads Christie ran in his re-election effort. Christie is a moderate? Christie who is against gay marriage, gun background checks, minimum wage, abortion, and women’s issues is a moderate?
The Canadian Cruz took it even further: “I think it is terrific that he is brash, that he is outspoken, and that he won his race,” Cruz told ABC. “But I think we need more leaders in Washington with the courage to stand for principle. And in particular, Obamacare is not working.” That is clear reference to Christie expanding Medicare in his state.
On the other side of the coin, these same people were praising Ken Cuccenilli for his “valiant” fight in Virginia. They even went so far as to blame the establishment Republicans for not supporting him enough. You know the same establishment Republicans they want to throw out of the party for not being “conservative enough”.
The fat boy wasn’t being left out either. The drug addict was raging about how the media was all in favor of Christie. He even said that “we shouldn’t let the media pick our candidate again”. Okay fat boy, shut up! You are the media too.
So you have a conservative in Christie in New Jersey who was able to win big in his bid for reelection. But, he isn’t conservative enough because he may actually listen to some of what his constituents say. And, you have a Pee Party nut in Virginia who lost because he stands for everything the Pee Party wants. Yet, he is the hero and Christie is the villain.
After the election, pundits were all talking about how this was a blow to the Pee Party. Sounds like even though that may be true in the real world, it certainly isn’t true in their warped sense of reality.
They are still pouring on the hate towards women, the hate towards African-Americans, the hate towards gays, the hate towards seniors, and the hate towards Latinos. Do they really believe that is the way to win national elections?
Senator Graham took the lessons learned in Virginia so well, he wants to introduce another anti-abortion bill in the Senate! The Pee Party lost in Virginia because women rebelled against their candidate over things like abortion, contraception, divorce, etc. And, here is Graham wanting to introduce anti-abortion legislation just one day later!
No, the Pee Party’s attack on Civil Liberties has not ended. They plan to fight to the very end or until they are allowed to set up their little dictatorship! Their whole philosophy is based around the archaic notion that “women should be barefoot, pregnant and in the kitchen”. They want African-Americans kept separate from “polite society”. They want Latinos sent back to wherever they came from. They want gays to be put into concentration camps and away from the rest of us. They want the elderly to simply die so they can eliminate Social Security and Medicare.
Here is a suggestion. If you Pee Partiers really believe in the bullshit you are spouting, instead of continuing with your “coded” speech, why not come out of the closet, as they say, and just put the KKK Cross on your logo. Don’t be afraid to show the country what you really believe in. Isn’t that what the Canadian keeps saying? “Stand on your principles!”
