Overheard from a financial law attorney, apparently testing the legal-ethics waters:
Of all the reasons to go to jail, stealing money for other people is the worst!
Well, at least he’s got standards.

Of all the reasons to go to jail within the specific subset of reasons for which I and other like me are considerably likely to go to jail, stealing money for other people is the worst.
Fixed.
FTR, some of the many worse reasons for going to jail
- smoking/carrying weed
- protesting a cause
- driving an expensive sports car while black
- bootlegging movies/music (you can go to jail for this if you’re producing them, not just selling them, right?)
- getting into a fist fight over a game of beer pong (must happen nightly on college campuses)
